The Parisian apartment of our Californian client is a sensory masterpiece, blending curated treasures, bespoke modern pieces, and thoughtfully composed vignettes. This Full-Service project encompassed a complete transformation, including the design of a new kitchen and bathroom, the strategic opening of walls to enhance flow, and the creation of a dining room ingeniously repurposed from a former bathroom. Despite its intimate scale, the apartment exudes character and uncompromising quality, embodying the essence of Parisian charm.

The furniture, most of which was custom-designed by Lichelle, reflects a harmonious interplay of rich, luxurious materials and understated, humble ones. This intentional juxtaposition creates an authentic, lived-in atmosphere that feels both elevated and inviting. By seamlessly blending eras and textures, the apartment transcends trends to capture the timeless spirit of a true Parisian home.

Every element was meticulously considered to deliver a turnkey sanctuary, ready for our client to enjoy. Custom-made bedding and personalized Italian table settings lend a touch of intimacy, while vintage treasures from iconic names such as Baccarat, Lalique, and Hermès were sourced with care from Les Puces de Saint-Ouen and renowned antique shops. These storied pieces, alongside bespoke furnishings, contribute layers of history, elegance, and narrative to the space.

The result is a home that celebrates Parisian artistry and craftsmanship—a sophisticated retreat that balances modernity and tradition with effortless grace.

One of the things I enjoy most is bringing together pieces that, at first glance, seem unexpected. A beautifully worn antique beside a bespoke sofa, simple natural textures layered with refined finishes, or an everyday object displayed with the same care as a work of art.

For me, a home becomes truly interesting when it feels collected rather than decorated. It is those thoughtful contrasts that create warmth, character, and authenticity.

An 82m2 pied-à-terre redesigned for a Californian client, with walls opened to improve flow, a new kitchen built, and a dining room created from what was formerly a bathroom. Every piece of parisian decor was chosen with deliberate contrast in mind: custom furniture designed by Lichelle sits alongside vintage finds from Les Puces de Saint-Ouen, including pieces by Baccarat, Lalique, and Hermès, blending rich and humble materials across different eras to create an atmosphere that feels layered rather than decorated.

The result captures a french aesthetic that lives rather than performs, delivered as a complete turnkey project and a clear example of what interior design Paris looks like when character and craftsmanship are treated as the same thing.
