Project type: Private residence

Full renovation and Decoration
Situated near Trocadéro in Paris’s prestigious 16th arrondissement, this renovated 284-square-meter Haussmannian apartment is a harmonious fusion of classic Parisian architecture and modern design with a touch of mid-century flair. The redesign celebrates the apartment’s iconic features, such as its ornate marble fireplaces, intricate moldings, and soaring ceilings, while introducing functional solutions tailored to the needs of a family of five and their beloved pet.
The renovation was both ambitious and transformative. The former dining room was reimagined as a spacious, light-filled kitchen, while new spaces were created to enhance everyday living, including a dedicated kids’ lounge, a dual-purpose home office, a luxurious master bathroom ensuite, and a walk-in closet. To maximize functionality, tailor-made storage solutions were seamlessly integrated throughout the apartment, blending practicality with design elegance.
The interior decoration reflects a carefully curated balance between old and new. The clients’ collection of modern furniture and decorative art pieces was thoughtfully juxtaposed with new elements to complete the vision for this bright, airy home. A restrained color palette, complemented by light-toned woods, curated lighting fixtures, and textured fabrics, contributes to the apartment’s timeless yet contemporary feel.
The result is a luminous and livable space that redefines Parisian living. This project is a testament to the thoughtful integration of historic architecture with modern sensibilities, creating a refined home where elegance and functionality coexist in perfect harmony.

From Lichelle
Every renovation begins with possibilities that are not immediately visible. Looking beyond the existing walls and imagining how a home could better support modern life has always been one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
For me, the greatest compliment is when those changes feel so natural that it becomes difficult to imagine the home any other way.

A 284m2 Haussmannian apartment near Trocadéro in Paris's 16th arrondissement, with original marble fireplaces, ornate moldings, and soaring ceilings, reimagined as a practical family home for five. Respecting the parisian architecture was non-negotiable: every original detail was preserved while the layout was entirely rethought, with a new kitchen, a kids' lounge, a home office, and a master ensuite created within the existing footprint.
Lichelle Silvestry led the complete apartment renovation, delivering a luminous, liveable home where mid-century elegance and classic French architecture sit side by side: exactly what interior design Paris at this level is meant to achieve.
