Inside Bazin: Our Paris Interior Design Studio in the 16th
Project type: Commercial
Surface 52 sq m
Full renovation and Decoration Project
Bazin is a project that is especially close to our hearts. Located in Paris’ 16th arrondissement, this 52-square-meter apartment is the home of our interior design studio—the place where our ideas take shape, materials are tested, and creativity flows every day. It represents not only a renovation but also the embodiment of our philosophy: that design should be both lived in and experienced.
We completely reimagined the space, studying every centimeter to ensure it balances form and function with elegance. Designed to feel both personal and practical, Bazin serves simultaneously as a working studio, a meeting space, and a real-life showroom—an intimate expression of our interior design services in Paris. Every detail has been considered so that visitors can experience firsthand the atmosphere we create for our clients’ homes.
At its core lies a fully stocked matériauthèque—a materials library where clients and collaborators can explore a carefully curated selection of finishes and textures. Marble samples, hand-woven fabrics, and natural stone sit alongside soft velvet sofas, silk curtains, jute rugs, and classic parquet floors. This living library allows ideas to be tested in real time, transforming abstract concepts into tangible visions of what a Paris apartment renovation can achieve.
The renovation itself was conceived as a case study in luxury apartment design in Paris. Custom millwork maximizes storage and functionality without overwhelming the compact footprint, while layered lighting solutions highlight different moods throughout the day. Neutral palettes are punctuated by natural materials and bespoke furnishings, creating a timeless backdrop for the ever-changing rhythm of a working design studio.
More than just an office, Bazin was designed to feel like home—welcoming, thoughtful, and layered with intention. It is a space where clients are invited to discover how interiors come to life, surrounded by the textures, finishes, and inspirations that define our work. The studio is a living demonstration of our belief that interior design in Paris should be immersive, personal, and deeply connected to the spirit of place.
Bazin continues to inspire us daily. It is at once a sanctuary for creativity, a showcase of craftsmanship, and a reflection of our commitment to delivering refined, timeless interiors for our clients in Paris and beyond.

From Lichelle
Designing our own studio reminded me that the most successful interiors are not measured by their size, but by how they make everyday life feel. Every decision at Bazin—from the layout to the materials—was guided by one question: Will this space become more beautiful and more enjoyable to live in with time?
Although it is where we work, I wanted it to feel unmistakably like a Parisian home. Because I believe the best interiors are not simply designed to be admired—they are designed to be lived in, every single day.

A 52m2 space in the 16th arrondissement, fully renovated and decorated to serve simultaneously as Lichelle Silvestry's working studio, client meeting room, and living showroom for her french interior design practice.
The renovation fitted the compact footprint with custom millwork, layered lighting, and a complete matériauthèque where marble samples, hand-woven fabrics, and natural stone sit alongside velvet sofas, silk curtains, and classic parquet, allowing clients to experience a real french style interior before committing to any choice.
Bazin is both the origin and the proof of the work: a space designed to feel like a Parisian home rather than an office, and the clearest expression of what interior design Paris means when it is built around the belief that good design has to be lived in every day.
